On October 18, the North Delta Centre for the Arts (11425 84 Avenue, Delta, BC) will once again host the fifth annual Killer Verse, a live reading event where spooky stories leap off the page and onto the stage. Local actors bring chilling new works to life in performance, blending storytelling with the drama of theatre. This year’s showcase leans into vintage horror, with most of the tales written in BC and across Canada, plus two haunting debuts from Delta writers under 18. Equal parts eerie, theatrical, and unforgettable, Killer Verse 2025 is a one-night-only tradition that proves horror is alive and thriving in our community.
