About this Event

Come and join local Living History enthusiast Heather as she brings to life crafts from the Northwest's Heritage. Demonstrating the slowly vanishing skills that went into producing our clothing using natural materials.

Inspired by Heritage Crafts Red List, we’re focusing on endangered crafts. To see the full list of crafts please visit our website

This month's session focuses on Wet Felting

Status: Currently Viable

‘Tis the season for needing to keep warm in a hurry!

No talent for knitting? Let Heather show you how to get started with wet felting.Felting is an old heritage craft with prehistoric links. However it still feels as modern and vibrant today.

In this session, you can make a scarf, mittens or socks in a few hours. Why not make a hat or bag to compliment your wardrobe with your own colour blended creations?

You’ll be cosy in no time.
