About Kiki Zone & Vogue Down MPLS
Kiki Zone is a vibrant, community-centered ballroom experience where creativity, self-expression, and competition collide. Rooted in the rich tradition of ballroom culture, Kiki Zone provides a space for both newcomers and seasoned performers to showcase their talent, walk categories, and celebrate queer and trans artistry. Each event is themed to inspire bold fashion, high-energy performances, and unforgettable moments on the runway.
Vogue Down MPLS is a Black queer artist collective dedicated to cultivating ballroom culture in the Twin Cities. Through mini balls, dance parties, and workshops, Vogue Down MPLS creates safe and celebratory spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals to express themselves through movement, fashion, and performance. The collective is committed to fostering community, amplifying local talent, and ensuring that the legacy of ballroom thrives in Minneapolis and beyond.
