P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome back Kiera Wright-Ruiz to celebrate the release of her debut cookbook, : a celebration of Latin American food in all its vibrant, flavorful glory; a culinary journey of self-discovery as Kiera Wright-Ruiz connects to her Latinx roots; and a love letter to the diaspora.

Kiera will be joined in conversation by bestselling author and food reporter Priya Krishna. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Kiera will be signing copies of .

  • This is a ticketed in-store event with limited amphitheater-style seating. Doors open at 6:30pm.
  • Cost of a $5 general admission ticket can be applied towards your purchase of the featured event book or any product in our café the night of an event.
  • Cost of a book bundle ticket reflects the total cost of the feature event book (MSRP plus tax). Each book bundle ticket guarantees ticket holders one (1) copy of the feature event book.
  • The talk will be followed by a book signing. Books signed at P&T Knitwear events must be purchased from P&T Knitwear. If you would like a signed copy and cannot attend the event, we're happy to take your pre-order. We ship most places!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

is a writer, recipe developer, and the author of the celebrated picture book She has written for publications like The New York Times, Food52, Serious Eats, The Kitchn and The Japan Times. When not writing, she is probably eating onigiri with her husband and dog somewhere in Tokyo, where she is based.


ABOUT THE MODERATOR

is a food reporter and video host for The New York Times and the New York Times bestselling author of multiple cookbooks including , and , a cookbook for kids. Her stories have been included in the 2019 and 2021 editions of "The Best American Food Writing," she has been nominated for a James Beard and IACP award and in 2021, she was named to Forbes' 30 Under 30 list. She has appeared on multiple television shows including Ugly Delicious and Masterchef. She is originally from Dallas, Texas.
