Bring your child/ren along to create their very own gorgeous animal planter/trinket bowl. Including glazing and firing. Plenty of examples! Parents welcome to participate for the cost of an additional children’s ticket. 4pm-5pm Friday October 10th at I Am Healing Gifts Coomera near Boathouse Tavern.During this fun pottery class, you and/or your child/children will learn how to create beautiful animal planters that will add a touch of whimsy to any space. You don't need any prior experience in pottery to join this workshop, so don't worry if you're a beginner! We'll guide you through the entire process, ensuring that you feel confident and supported every step of the way. This class is super easy and suitable for all ages from toddlers to teens, so feel free to bring the tribe.
During the class, you'll learn how to mould and shape the clay, as well as various techniques for adding texture and detail to your animal planters. Then leave the rest to Wendy from Lil Miss Potty Mouth who will glaze and fire your planters so that they will be waterproof and last for many years to come.
Working with clay can be a calming and therapeutic activity, allowing you to tap into your creativity and focus on the present moment. As you create your animal planters, you'll find yourself immersed in the process, experiencing a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and deepening your parent-child bond through this fun and creative shared experience.
At the end of the class, you'll be amazed at what you've achieved and will have a cute collection of unique animal planters to collect in 6-8 weeks time.
