The City of Lawton, in partnership with Parks and Recreation, will host a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of new construction at Greer Park, commonly known as KidZone. The new playground includes ADA-compliant structures to ensure children of all abilities can participate, three swing sets and shade coverings to keep families cool and equipment protected. A cushioned flooring system has been installed beneath the play areas to enhance safety, and a new splash pad will provide relief during hot summer days.
The ribbon cutting will also feature family activities, including music, food trucks, bounce houses and the chance to experience the new playground firsthand.
