About the Book:
Introducing Bamboo, a timid pup who doesn't have all the confidence in the world, but does have some of the longest ears! Most of the time, he just wants to be like his brother and sister. They have short ears. They also go outside each day but Bamboo is a little too afraid to tag along. He, and his ears, will have a chance to come through when his family needs him the most. Adorable illustrations highlight the personality of Bamboo and his family throughout the story. Great for early readers and those who love dogs!

The Tallahassee Memorial Animal Therapy, Tallahassee R.E.A.D.s ® program is dedicated to improving children’s literacy skills through certified handler animal teams. This permission form allows your child to participate in the Tallahassee R.E.A.D.s® sessions, in person and/or virtually conducted via Zoom, and for his/her photographic image to be used in publications, displays, or for broadcasting on TV, radio, or the internet.
