About this Event
Anastasia KidsPraise is our midweek worship and arts ministry for children ages three (by September 1st and potty-trained) through 5th grade. Our mission is to help kids know Jesus as their Savior and grow into lifelong worshipers of God through music, arts, and media. We culminate every semester with a concert performance showcasing the music we have learned each week.
When: Wednesday evenings, 6:00–7:15 p.m., during the school year (PreK+K let out at 7 pm)
Structure: Two semesters
- Fall: Late August – Early December
- Spring: Late January – Late April
Program Details:
- 1st–5th Grade: Each semester includes two consecutive six-week elective classes, chosen during registration, allowing kids to explore different artistic areas. The first half of each week is spent in elective class while the second half is spent in music rehearsal learning the songs we will sing at concert.
- PreK & Kindergarten: Also follows a two-semester structure, but each week stands alone with Bible stories, crafts, and snacks designed just for their age group. These children will also spend significant time learning the music they will sing at concert.
COME EARLY FOR FAMILY DINNER STARTING January 21st: Churchwide family dinner in the CLC starts at 5 pm before KidsPraise. $6 for ages 12 and up; $3 for kids aged 4-12; kids 3 and under are free. The menu can be found in the church bulletin.
