Kids Yoga Summer Camp (ages 7-12) ONLY 10 spots
Overview: 🌞✨ Get ready for a summer of yoga fun with Megan’s Wellness Tribe Kids Yoga Camp! 🧘‍♂️🎨 Join us for three days of adventure, creativity, and mindfulness tailored for kids aged 7-12. 🌈 From partner poses to glow stick yoga, each day is packed with excitement and learning. Yoga Camp will be hosted at Megan’s Wellness Tribe located at 622 SW 3rd St Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. (right across from Quiktrip on 3rd street & 50 highway)
When: July 16th, 17th, 18th 9am-12pm
What to Bring: yoga mat, water bottle, dress comfy in play clothes, snack will be provided but if you have a picky eater pack a snack.

Meet Your Host and Kids yoga guru Jeanna:
I began practicing yoga 13 years ago at a local community center. I grew up playing soccer and have always loved very physical sports and exercise. However, as I aged, my body wasn't enjoying that level of physicality anymore. I loved that yoga gave me a great workout, but was gentler on my body. Over the years, yoga has become more of a spiritual practice for me over just a way to stay in shape. I love moving my body with breath and learning more about yoga everyday.
Teaching children's yoga is my favorite outlet for being playful and silly! I became certified to teach yoga to children in February of 2024. I have a degree in Family and Child Studies and was previously a social worker for the Children's Division and an in-home daycare provider.
I also have a deep passion for helping those in recovery as it has touched me personally and love being a part of Yoga of 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) Meetings. My favorite classes to practice are Vinyasa Flow.
Outside of yoga, I own a local pet care business, Latchkey Pets, and support other women entrepreneurs in starting their pet care businesses. I have two teenage sons, two dogs and a partner I adore. I enjoy paddleboarding, hiking, soccer, reading, gardening, and supporting others in addiction recovery. I have a life that I absolutely love!
