We are so excited to offer OUTDOOR Kids Yoga Day Camp this summer! July 29- Aug 1 2024Camp will be held at Shelley Pagitt's house, 6301 Peacedale Ave, Edina, MN 55424. She has a delightful backyard for yoga and games, shade for crafts and snacks, and a huge park just two blocks away for nature walks and mindful exploration.
All people benefit from practicing yoga, but kids seem especially able to embody yogic practices of unifying body, mind and spirit leading to self-awareness and healthy interpersonal relationships. We are so excited to share the power of playful, integrated yoga with your child.
Much more than yoga poses, at Kids Yoga Day Camp your child will learn how to connect with their body through mindful movement & cooperative games. They will gain awareness of their powerful minds & learn how to guide thoughts by using their breath and bodies. These skills are all taught in playful ways that support each child’s inner light. Kids Yoga Day Camp will be FUN and WELCOMING for all children ages 6-10 years (a little older is fine) giving them opportunity to gain skills and confidence in cooperation, communication, leadership, compassion, flexibility, mindfulness and creativity. This will be a good opportunity to deepen relationships between siblings and friends.
Each day we will explore the outdoors, mindfully eat a healthful snack together and each child will express their inner-artist and create their own, unique Camp T-shirt, as well as other crafts related to our themes of honoring ourselves and honoring others.

*We will have a hand-washing station outside and a sanitized bathroom inside.
*Shelley will contact you regarding food allergies, t-shirt preferences, etc. 2 weeks before camp.
