For 2nd through 5th graders.

Fun and movement while incorporating yoga. We will focus on flexibility, strength, teamwork, and mindfulness through games, yoga poses, and breath work.

Please bring a yoga mat

Price: $30 per child - add'l siblings $25 each.
About our presenter:
Deepa Lail is a former Pre-K teacher who completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Ahimsa in 2024. Deepa has practiced yoga for many years, primarily thinking of it as a good stretch. It was not until her life became stressful and she began going to yoga more often that she experienced the “mind-body” connection of yoga. The more she went to yoga, the better she could handle everything else life threw at her. Deepa then witnessed her young nephew, who has autism, attend a yoga class with a sense of calmness that inspired her to take teacher training so she could bond with her nephew.

Deepa hopes that everyone in any of her classes, regardless of age and ability, feels welcomed. She realizes yoga can be intimidating and therefore intends to create an environment where her students feel safe and leave everything else behind to enjoy class.
