We're off to Fort Riley, Kansas for a day of history, military, and fun!We will journey around the base to see historic Fort Riley along with the newly re-opened museums and monuments! We will enjoy our sack lunches at the First Territorial Capitol before continuing on our trek through local history!
Registration fee includes round trip travel in our 15 passenger vans. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle. Clothes that are appropriate for walking around indoors and out are suggested.
Tour leaves the Flint Hills Discovery Center at 8:30 a.m. and returns no later than 4 p.m.
This program is for ages 8-17.
Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, July 24 at 5 p.m. online, by phone at 785-587-2726, or in person at the Discovery Center.
