Presents: Kids Summer Art Series!
Get ready for a summer full of creativity and fun with the Atithi Kids Summer Art Series! Designed for artists ages 12-15, these workshops run from 4-6 pm and are packed full of hands-on activities that will inspire and delight. Whether your child is the next Picasso in the making or just loves to get crafty, they’re sure to have a blast.

- Mix and Match! Pick just one class or sign up for all six weeks to explore a variety of art forms and techniques.
- All Materials Included! No need to worry about supplies—they’re all provided unless a class calls for something special (check the class description for details).
- Expert Guidance! Our instructors are professional working artists and seasoned children’s teachers who know how to keep things fun and engaging.
🎨 Class Descriptions:
WEEK ONE - MONDAY JULY 15, 2024 : Dynamic Character Illustration with Zev.
Get ready to make a masterpiece starting from a scribble with Zev! Our instructor will show you how to use abstract shapes, lines, and colors as the basis for complex and whimsical ink illustrations on paper. You'll learn doodle art, illustration composition, artist-block breakers, and problem-solving techniques for when a piece goes off the rails. There are no mistakes here, and folks of any and every experience level are welcome!

WEEK TWO - MONDAY JULY 22, 2024 : Kawaii Cute Arts with Alison.
Step into the super cute world of Kawaii art with Alison! You'll learn how to make adorable dolly “stuffy” characters and custom art shrinky-dinks. Alison will guide you every step of the way, so you can create your own cute crafts to take home and enjoy. Get ready for some serious cuteness overload!

WEEK THREE- MONDAY JULY 29 2024 : Wacky Still Life with Faj.
Bring your favorite things and get ready to paint them with Faj! Anything goes - game controllers, stuffed animals, fruit, footballs, plants, water bottles, ceramics, jewelry, and more. We’ll set up a wild and wacky still life with the items you bring and items we have. Then our instructor will teach you how to bring these everyday objects to life on canvas using acrylic paints. By the end, you’ll have your very own masterpiece to show off!

WEEK FOUR - MONDAY AUGUST 5 2024 : Print & Stamp Magic - Printmaking with Suzanne.
Discover the fun world of printmaking with our amazing instructor Suzanne! Learn how to make your own easy stamps and use them to create awesome art prints. You’ll get to experiment with patterns and designs, and make your own custom artwork that you can repeat over and over again. Stamp away!

WEEK FIVE - MONDAY AUGUST 12, 2024 : Wearable Art Frenzy With Alison.
Time to get creative and make some awesome wearable art! You’ll design a cool tote bag and craft your own fancy buttons to wear. This class is all about expressing yourself and showing off your personality through art. You’ll work with our crafty instructor, Alison, to leave with custom-made creations that you can wear and show off to your friends!

WEEK 6 - MONDAY AUGUST 19, 2024: Collaging Craze With Suzanne.
Get ready for a super fun and imaginative collage-making adventure! With our teacher Suzanne, you’ll use magazine pages, paint, markers, and other materials to rip, tear, cut, and create something totally unique. Snip, glue, and doodle your way to a masterpiece that's perfect for framing.
