Teaching Children the Joy of ReikiOur specially designed Kid's Reiki Class is a simplified version of traditional Usui/Holy Fire Reiki. In easily understood concepts, they are introduced to the idea of the flow of energy and the chakra system. How to start its flow and the proper ways to use Reiki. We also touch on the history of Reiki. We encourage first and foremost the use of Reiki for themselves as a calming and healing skill. We also promote the use of Reiki with their family members and pets.
Reiki is especially helpful for sensitive children. Its gentle energy can give them:

Centeredness
Connection
Spirituality
In this workshop the children will get in touch with subtle energy and learn simple methods of using Reiki. This course is designed to be fun and interesting for children who have an awareness of their energetic being and would like to spend time in a nurturing, supportive atmosphere which allows them to explore their innate potential. Children have a natural awareness of healing energy and can often see it. They are very close to the flow of life. It is easy for them to learn Reiki. In this class we honor their unique perspectives and present Reiki a way they can understand. Initiating Reiki for use by children is a simple visualization technique. They will receive a Certificate of Completion and Reiki I Attunement.

About the instructor: Melinda Hansen is a Karuna Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher and a member of the International Reiki Association. She is a Body Code and Biofield Tuning Practitioner, certified in Emotion Code (for over 7 years) and Access Bars. She also uses CBT and NLP in her practice. One of her greatest joys is introducing the power of Reiki to others, especially children.
