Kids Pasta-Making Class at La Farmette
A Hands-On Italian Experience — Kids Make Pasta, We Handle Lunch! (No Cooking Involved)
Give your child a unique and creative experience at La Farmette!
This fully hands-on pasta-making class lets children mix, knead, roll, and shape their own fresh pasta from scratch—all in a fun, relaxed farm setting.
Please note: This is not a cooking class. Kids do not cook. They make pasta and take it home, and lunch is provided separately.
⭐ Parent Participation Requirement
Each child must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian who will stay for the entire duration of the class.
This ensures safety, comfort, and an enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Ages 6–12: Parent/guardian must stay (observing or assisting as needed)
- Ages 4–5: Parent/guardian must stay and actively assist the child throughout the entire class
- Not suitable for children under 4
⭐ What Kids Will Do (No Cooking Involved)
- Measure flour and make the classic “volcano”
- Mix and knead their own pasta dough
- Roll dough using kid-friendly tools and the pasta machine (supervised)
- Cut and shape pastas such as tagliatelle, farfalle, and lasagnette
- Create their own unique “invented” pasta shape
- Take home the fresh pasta they made
🍕 Lunch Included (Prepared by La Farmette)
After the pasta-making fun, children will enjoy a kid-friendly lunch:
- Fresh pizza
- Juice/lemonade
- Cupcakes for dessert
All lunch items are prepared by La Farmette.
Children do not cook anything during this event.
🎓 Each Child Receives
- A Junior Pasta Chef Certificate
- Their own fresh pasta to take home
