About this Event
Help make your lunch in a 1946 wood-burning oven that was owned by Dr. Hardman! This program allows children ages 7-12 the experience of actually using a wood-burning stove, with the help of adult staff. They will learn how cooking used to require much more time and effort than it does today, and then be able to eat from their own efforts. One adult must register as a participant as well as register their children and stay throughout the program. The adult will participate with their children and lunch will be provided to both the children and the accompanying adults.
No children younger than 7 will be allowed at this event due to the safety nature of being in the historic kitchen with a hot stove.
Program is limited to 20 total people.
Admission is $12 (+ taxes and fees)/person. Please be sure to register children and adults.
