This is a two hour sewing workshop; you will learn how to use a sewing machine for stretchy fabrics, and make a pair of children's leggingsDuring this two hour event you will be coached through the process to make your own pair of children's leggings. We will be using the Waves and Wild Lightning Leggings pattern which is available in sizes 6 months to 8 years.
No sewing experience is necessary; all haberdashery will be provided (but you are welcome to bring your own) and sewing machines can be provided if you do not own your own.
You will need to bring 1 metre of fabric with four way stretch - such as cotton lycra - however, HEN IN A HEDGE at Artisan's Handmade stocks this fabric if you wish to browse and buy on the day. If you would like to use one of our sewing machines please contact us via email at [email protected] prior to the event.
This will be a fun and educational afternoon; spend time with friends or make new ones.
