Good day everyone.I have been blessed and invited by Alicia Dieperink (Steyn) to come and minister, to do some Art Therapy and Life Coaching with the young teenage girls at Villa Gloria, 25 Engelbrecht Street, Oatlands, Krugersdorp West, on the 30th of August.
Their establishment is called "Kids for Change" – a loving home that provides shelter, food, and spiritual guidance to underprivileged families with nowhere else to go.
Alicia reached out to me after hearing about the Art Therapy class I held for moms at the community church. This opportunity is truly God-sent, and I feel called to serve through this charitable outreach.
During this special event, I’ll be sharing about the Word of God, His deep love and value for each of them – regardless of their past or current circumstances. We’ll also explore themes of Self-Love, Self-Worth, and Self-Care through expressive Art Therapy and Life Coaching skills.
There are 13 girls (ages 11–17) who will attend – and it will be a surprise for them! To make this day even more special, we’re asking for help collecting personal toiletries such as: Deodorants,Body cream,Sanitary pads,Facecloths,Body soap,and a nice chocolate treat. A kind volunteer is also sewing toiletry bags for the girls to place their items in.
We also are very blessed to have a good friend of mine who is a counselor to be on sight if anyone needs to talk privately and share things they not comfortable sharing with others if they wish to do so. We’re also grateful to Wilropark Motors (Horizon), who have generously offered decorations, games, and funds for art supplies.
