Each session will be similar in format with slight variations from one week to the next so there is always something new to learn if your child attends multiple sessions.
Enjoy a "Show and Tell" day on the last day of camp with all the farm campers.
During our daily animal encounters, campers will gain a deep understanding of animal behavior, habitats, and the importance of sustainable farming practices. Whether it’s grooming, feeding or ensuring clean and safe stalls, each day is sure to be an adventure that will bring fun-filled learning opportunities!
Campers will utilize their appreciation for nature and the environment through educational crafts and activities inspired by life on the farm. creativity will spark through various nature-inspired crafts such as building scarecrows, vegetable paintings and making bird feeders using materials sourced from the farm. Each craft will coincide with an educational lesson. Every day is a learning day!
Campers will have a blast participating in farm games that will allow for a deeper appreciation of agriculture and the natural world around them. From scavenger hunts to rodeos and farmyard Olympics, each day is guaranteed to be a day filled with laughter, teamwork and friendship!
Ready, set, grow! campers will earn their green thumb as they learn essential skills such as planting seeds, nurturing plants and harvesting fresh produce. From garden beds to table, campers will learn the importance of harvesting while fostering a love for sustainable living.
Before embarking on a scenic wagon ride around the farm fields observing the pumpkin patch, sunflower patch, corn maze, gardens and nature’s beauty, campers will participate in a farm etiquette lesson that will teach campers essential safety skills when working around heavy equipment and using farm tools.
Campers will create lasting memories and friendships with fellow campers as they learn to connect with the nature and unplug from screens. From journaling and storytelling to observing and learning about local wildlife, every day promises a new adventure and opportunity to discover the wonders of the natural world around the farm.
