Why should your child play D&D? Dungeons and Dragons is a great way for children of all ages to gain social skills, communication skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving skills. In this Mini campaign your children will save a town from werewolves that have always stayed in the woods, until now. The brave adventurers will need to work their way through puzzles, negotiate with shopkeepers, and fight off dangerous enemies. They will have to work as a group to set small and large goals, navigate following a map, and learn to communicate with each other to find victory. In this game “Killing the bad guy” may not be the route they choose, they will choose their own adventure.
What is included in the fee?
Your child will receive a booklet that will include a copy of the adventure (The Wolves of Welton), their character sheet, D&D in brief handouts to help them navigate the game, a snack and a drink, and a core memory they will carry with them forever!
All children who wish to participate must have basic reading and math skills, and the ability to sit and follow directions for a long period of time. Parents will need to fill out a contact card for emergencies and/or they are welcome to stay and watch.
