Ages 7–12
Mondays November 3-24 3:30-5:30 PM with a pop-up exhibition at the end
We are going to look at the magic of color and how it makes our world brighter. From how colors mix to create new colors to how colors can complement each other creating a beautiful image. We will be creating with color pencils paint and clay.
30% of proceeds from this course goes to The Aplomb Project a 501(c)3 supporting trauma survivors with the healing power of art.
About the instructor:
Marisa Companion is an artist and educator who earned an MFA from California Institute of the Arts (2011). She taught high school and k-8 art in New Hampshire and California for the last 15 years. Art education is an important part of her practice and art community outreach has helped inform the art she creates. Marisa’s work has been featured at Danforth Museum of Art Framingham MA and Art Basel Miami.
