Artist and ceramicist Eleanor Meredith will guide the clay workshop where children can play with clay in this fun and interactive session where you use different hand building techniques to make your own ceramic sculptures. You will decorate your work with coloured clay slips to make your own ghosts, ghouls and creatures.Once you are happy with your final design, Eleanor will fire your creations in her kiln back at the studio.
Firing and glazing will take about a month. They will be able to collect from Bowhouse October Market (11th & 12th) or alternatively, a postage fee of £12 can be paid for at the end of the workshop.
Suitable for ages 6-10, please come with an adult.
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
