About this Event
Our instructor will guide artists of all skill levels through the process of crafting an adorable owl from low-fire clay.
On the first day, we’ll get our hands messy and explore where clay comes from, along with various techniques to shape the perfect owl. After our creations are made, they will dry at the gallery before being fired in the kiln.
For the second class two weeks later, we’ll add vibrant colors using oil pastels and acrylic paint. Once your owl has dried, our instructor will apply a coat of sealer, available in your choice of a matte or glossy finish. After 24 hours, your finished owls will be ready to pick-up from the gallery at your convenience.
With each ticket purchase student will be given enough clay to create one owl.
