9:30am Sunday Kids Church meets most Sundays (excluding holiday weekends) on the RUMC campus. Geared for infants - 6th grade.This Fall, 2025 children will explore who Jesus is.
A typical Kids Church hour consists of: Playing on the playground, singing in the puppet room, creative drawing, Bible look-up, interactive Bible story, hands-on activity, and prayer.
Children are encouraged to bring a backpack or bag, a water bottle, and shoes they can run and jump in.
No food is served during Kids Church, but families are welcome to stay after for the all-church refreshment time in the social hall.
Children who wish to not attend Kids Church are welcome to remain in the sanctuary with their families during the 9:30am worship service.
Children who wish to participate in holy communion (typically held the first Sunday of each month) must have their grown-up come and pick them up from Kids Church in order to do so. Please ask RUMC staff for more information regarding this.
Children of the community are welcome. You do not need to be a member of the church in order to participate in Kids Church.

17th: Jesus is our leader (Luke 5:1-11)
24th: Jesus is our teacher (Matthew 5:1-2 and 13-16)
31st: Not meeting due to the holiday weekend, children are to remain in the sanctuary with their families
September, 2025
7th: Jesus is our miracle worker (John 6:1-15)
14th: Jesus is our healer (Luke 5:12-16)
21st: Jesus is our king (Luke 19:28-44)
28th: Jesus is our servant (John 13:1-12)
October, 2025
5th: Jesus is our savior (Luke 23:33-47 and Matthew 27:50-54)
12th: Not meeting due to the holiday weekend, children are to remain in the sanctuary with their families
19th: Jesus is our risen lord (Matthew 27:57-66 and 28:1-10)
26th: Trick-or-Treat trail (come in your costumes!)
November, 2025
2nd: "Who is Jesus" series wrap-up part 1
9th: "Who is Jesus" series wrap-up part 2
16th: "Who is Jesus" series wrap-up part 3
23rd: Not meeting due to the holiday weekend, children are to remain in the sanctuary with their families
30th: Advent week 1
December, 2025:
7th: Advent week 2
14th: Advent week 3
21st: Advent week 4
28th: Not meeting due to the holiday weekend, children are to remain in the sanctuary with their families
Kids Church resumes for the spring semester on January 11, 2026.
