Join us to for a "Boxcar Children" potluck and craft! We'll be making a vegetable stew over the fire and making/decorating "dinner bells," just like the characters in the book The Boxcar Children.We will be posting a suggested potluck list (all dishes from the book series).
Please bring a clean, empty soup can with you for the craft.
It's not required that you and your kids read/finish the book prior to the book club meeting, but we recommend it. Please read the first book in the series. We also recommend you read the 1942 version, as the original has some more adult themes and advanced vocabulary.
