Jazz class is an upbeat and joyful genre of dance that develops classical technique, rhythm, and style while building strength, flexibility, and body awareness. It focuses on clean lines, turns, jumps, and leaps. #Jazzdance includes strength, flexibility, conditioning technique and progressions as well as isolations of the body, improving performance quality, and developing complex rhythms and patterns. In jazz class students learn many fun dance steps that are used for all forms of dance such as ballet, modern, contemporary, and hip-hop. It is a wonderful class to get a well-rounded variety of dance steps.
