About this Event
Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival for a 4 week program in winter survival skills! Each class meets 10am-1pm for 4 consecutive Thursdays, learning new skills each week. For homeschool students ages 7-13. No prior experience necessary. Beginners and advanced students welcome.

- February 5th 10-1 Basic Wood Carving Safety/Skills
- February 12th 10-1 Shelter Building
- February 19th 10-1 Fire Building Skills/Safety
- February 26th 10-1 Animal Tracking and Survival Traps
WHAT TO BRING:
- Water

- Dressed Appropriate for Weather
- OEWS BASIC OR COMPLETE kit, optional.
- Fire Starter
- Wood Carving Tool
Although we recommend students have their own survival gear, we also have materials to borrow for class. Upon completion of this class, students will receive an OEWS logo patch and Alula Feather patch towards their Alula Certification. We will cover a lot of skills and crafts in this class. Sibling discount available.
This class is open to new students and experienced students alike. The skills we cover in this class are beginner friendly.
Parent participation is not mandatory, but their attendance is. This is not a "drop-off" program. Please reach out with any questions.
