Fishing rods will be handed out to participants on a first-come, first-serve basis starting at 9 am the day of the event. Supplies are limited. Participants must be present to sign up.
Meet: Check-in at the front office starting at 9 am. The event will be in the Whitetail Run Day Use Area and the long fishing pier.
Bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, water, and sun protection.
Cost: Park entry is free for this event.
Note:
- Due to low lake levels this year, rainbow trout will NOT be stocked. Participants will be encouraged to fish for typical lake species.
- This program is weather-dependent. In the case of severe weather, it may be canceled.
- Reserving a day pass online does not guarantee participation in Kid Fish 2025. Wristbands that guarantee a free fishing rod to participants are passed out at the front office on a first come, first serve basis starting at 9 am the day of the event.
