Create a Custom Letterpress Poster: Adult & Child Collaborative Workshop
Join us for a hands-on letterpress printing experience where a parent or guardian and a child (ages 7+) will design and print their own unique posters using our collection of vintage wood type and decorative blocks.
Each 2 person team team will:
- Design a poster using our antique wood type and image collection
- Print on pre-made colorful gradient backgrounds
- Learn basic typesetting and letterpress printing techniques
- Receive guidance from Dan, our experienced printer
- Take home 12 copies of their poster design plus a special name print
- Have the option to trade prints with other workshop participants
We will streamlined the process by providing a variety of pre-printed color background sheets, allowing you to focus on creative typography and content while exploring traditional letterpress techniques.
Duration: 3 1/2 hours
What's included: All materials, expert instruction, and your completed prints
No prior experience necessary!
