About this Event
Cascadia is more than just a bioregion of the Northwest, it's an ideal. It is a day for geologists to commemorate the anniversary of the Mt. St. Helen's eruption, but it also gives us a day to talk about place.

Yes-- and kickball. Bring the kiddos, split up into teams and roll the red ball and let the fun begin. Pack up a cooler and some chairs/blanket, bring some goodies to share and let's have some conversations about place; what's going on with climate activism, and how we can motivate others to take climate action.

Free to attend, open to all. Even if you are not familiar with climate stuff, please join us for some casual conversations. Let's talk about solarpunk, permaculture, regenerative agriculture, solar and the power grid, food waste, reducing consumption, fast fashion, curbing our plastic addiction and more.
