Kiama Winter Festival is a six day event bringing the Kiama Harbour Foreshore to life with the installation of an authentic ice rink (yep real ICE baby!).
Celebrate, don't hibernate!
Kiama is the place to be these Winter School Holidays. Enjoy a daytime ice-skating session under a transparent marquee by the sea each hour from 10am or join us into the evening with different themed nights between 5pm - 8pm.
With seaside igloos, a pop-up bar, food trucks, art, daily face painting, themed entertainment, light installations & more, Kiama Winter Festival - Ice Skating By The Sea is proudly supported by the NSW Government’s Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Events Program, Kiama Municipal Council and we thank event sponsors Kiama Coast Holiday Parks, i98FM, One Fitness Kiama & Saltwater Café.
Ice Skating Tickets are now live & available to be pre-booked to avoid disappointment.
A confirmation email will be received once booking is made and becomes your entry ticket. Please check your spam / junk folder if it does not come through to your inbox.
The first ice skating session kicks off on Friday 7 July 2023 at 10am with a Welcome to Country, i98fm giveaways, and entertainment for the kids.
Our Friday launch night, Saturday evening and Wednesday finale night will also have an illuminated projection mapping show by local production company R & R Production Services, showcasing mapped artworks in partnership with Kiama’s very own Seven Marks Gallery spotlight artists.
Luke Turk, South Coast local brings us Incirrata, an illumination element as seen at Vivid, available to view each evening.
