On behalf of Zealandia Te Māra a Tāne and Friends of Karori Cemetery, we would like to invite you to join us for a working bee at Karori Cemetery, meeting at Seaforth Memorial Gardens, Sunday 19 May from 1:00pm – 4:30pm.

This event is part of the Kia Mouriora te Kaiwharawhara Sanctuary to Sea initiative which aims to enhance the mouri or lifeforce of the large Kaiwharawhara water catchment in Wellington City.

Jobs for the day will include general weeding and native plant care. Gloves and snacks (to be eaten outside the cemetery) will be provided, but if you have any gloves or tools available be sure to bring them. Make sure to bring water, weather appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes are a must!
Please RSVP to this Facebook event so we can plan for numbers.
