It’s back! Join us March 31st at 6:00 p.m. for the return of the popular “DIY Bioactive Workshop!”Here at KHS it is not just about native herps, it’s about exotic herps as well! We’re here to help the critters in your community as well as in your home!
Having bioactive enclosures benefit the reptiles/amphibians living in them by providing a more natural and lifelike environment to be comfortable in. Watch as their behavior becomes more naturalistic and their colors truly shine!
**We will be providing 5-20 gallon tanks and supplies available for you to learn how to build your very own bioactive enclosure. Have your own 5-20 gallon tank? Bring it with you! Our goal is to make sure we give you the right steps for you to expand this bioactive method to other herps in your care. And you get to take your creations home with you!**
?Limited supply of tanks/substrate available.
?1 tank per person.
?No bigger than 20 gallons please, we want to have enough substrate and supplies for everyone.
?All of our meetings are for members only, and we usually allow 1 free meeting without membership just to give people the chance to check us out before signing up!
