"The voice of Phoenix!"—George Benson
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Khani Cole began her ascent into national and international consciousness after relocating to Phoenix from her native Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the early ’90s. The move sparked her first release on Fahrenheit Records, Piece of My Soul, which included guest solos from Joey DeFrancesco and Brian Bromberg. Her follow-up, Places, was produced by Grammy winner Michael Broening and featured guest solos from Nelson Rangell and Marion Meadows. It featured the top-30 new adult contemporary radio single “You’ve Made Me So Very Happy.” Cole has performed with George Benson, Grover Washington Jr., and Joe Sample, among other notable musicians.
Cole now lives in Washington, DC. Her most recent release is a career-spanning compilation titled A Collection.
