In November Broadway star Khailah Johnson rendered Daddy Rabbit regulars speechless when she took a night off from her hit show, & Juliet, to perform at our regular live music event at the coolest speakeasy in NYC.
Somehow we've managed to get her back! This is not a show that NYC music lovers will want to miss. There's good singers, great singers and then there's Khailah. She's one of those artists where the music just flows through her - it's desperate to get out. She's like a siren from Greek mythology. Add world-famous brass and vocals in the form of Benny Bennack III and this will be a uniquely immersive audio experience.
As usual, virtuoso pianist Misha Piatigorsky and his band will play original works alongside unique interpretations of some of the greatest songs that the music world has ever heard from The Beatles to Bowie and from Roberta Flack to Stevie Wonder.
Doors at 6:30 and Show at 7:30pm. The better you dress the better we play.
