In the paddock of Kilcummin, under a big white marquee, Kilcummin Group Selectors' Association (KGSA) is rolling out a day full of connection, laughter, and a bit of sparkle — just for the women who make rural life run. There’ll be flowers, good boots, better dresses, and time to sit with your mates — or make new ones. Whether you’re from a cattle station a hundred kilometres out or living in a rural town, we would love to have you there.
We’ve got seats waiting, gifts planned, and a community of women who know exactly what it means to carry a heavy load with a light heart. Because bush women? They are the backbone of the land. And for one day — let’s raise a glass to that. We’d love to see you there.
The theme, “Wildflowers & Wine,” pays tribute to the women who flourish in challenging conditions, bring beauty to the bush, and keep everything growing strong, regardless of the season. This day is all about filling your cup — with laughter, connection, and care — shining a light on the importance of mental health and wellbeing for rural women.
Whether you're off a station or in town, flying solo or with a crew, you are all welcome. The KGSA Ladies’ Day theme blends the elegance of an old English garden party with the rustic charm of the Australian bush.
