Calling all cooks to bring their sugar and spice to this fun-filled classic conch recipe competition! Join us in celebrating the flavors of the island in this exciting Conch Cooking Competition, organized by Chef Martha Hubbard, featuring two categories:
Savory: Picadillo (submit in a crockpot)
Sweet: Queen of All Puddings (submit in a 9x13 dish)
Date: Saturday, April 5th
Location: Hellings Curry Museum (backyard), 319 Duval St.
Time: Food Submission @ 11:30am
Food Tasting: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
FREE to enter: 1st fifteen people to enter
Number of participants: Up to 15 per category
Voting Process: ANYONE CAN VOTE! Voting tickets are $5.00
each, 1 ticket per category.
Prize: Half the voters' fees collected for your category, trophy and bragging rights!
