After a great year of touring coast-to-coast in Canada The Janzen Boys have decided to flee the Winnipeg winter and bring their harmonies, heartfelt stories, and 70s-inspired folk-roots sound to The Key West Theatre.They'll be playing two 45-minute sets with a short break in between. Expect heartfelt originals, covers of bands like CSN, Anne Murray, and James Taylor, and plenty of stories and laughter throughout the night. It’s an all-ages show, so whether you come with friends, family, or just yourself, we’ll make sure you feel right at home.

The Janzen Boys are a harmony-driven folk roots trio from Winnipeg, Canada. Formed in 2012, their journey began as a busking act at The Forks market before quickly growing into a full-fledged family band. Known for heartfelt originals, familiar covers, and tight family harmonies, they’ve built a reputation for delivering both warmth and energy on stage.
The Boys have built a strong reputation, with a mailing list of over 7,000 fans and more than 50,000 social media followers, fueled by a savvy online marketing campaign centered on their distinctive songwriting and traditional covers. With funding from FACTOR Canada and Manitoba Film & Music, The Janzen Boys have toured relentlessly, selling out venues in markets where their only prior presence was online. Their physical record sales exceed 11,000, a testament to their digital prowess and loyal fanbase.
This funding is now fuelling their upcoming EP, The Great Unknown, set for release in spring 2026. Produced by Murray Pulver (Crash Test Dummies, Doc Walker) and Trey Mills (Forest Blakk), the EP promises a vibrant mix of originals, traditional songs, and country-driven rockers. As they prepare to unveil The Great Unknown, The Janzen Boys are poised to bring their earnest, harmony-rich sound to new heights, proving that in a crowded musical landscape, their authenticity and craft stand tall among the weeds.
