Please join us for Key to Hope: Pathway to Thriving from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, at The Westin Seattle.A signature Plymouth Housing fundraiser, Key to Hope brings our region’s forward-thinking community together to take steps toward ending homelessness. As one of the largest providers of permanent supportive housing in King County—and with a 95%+ success rate of helping people exit homelessness for good—Plymouth is playing a vital role in solving one of our region’s biggest challenges. Together we can create a brighter future—where everyone has access to the care and stable housing they need to thrive.
This year’s luncheon will feature a keynote presentation by Esmy Jimenez, senior reporter for the Boston Globe and co-producer of “Lost Patients,” a podcast from KUOW, The Seattle Times and NPR. Through her journalism, Jimenez unravels complex topics like immigration and mental health, revealing how historic inequities and policy failures continue to impact marginalized communities.
Jimenez’s work on “Lost Patients” holds particular relevance for Plymouth. Through six deeply reported episodes, the series examines the difficulties of treating severe mental illness. With testimonials from patients, families, and professionals on the front lines, “Lost Patients” presents a solutions-oriented look at how we can come together as a community to provide more effective behavioral health care. The podcast yields critical insights as Plymouth evolves our model of care to better support our residents.
Registration for Key to Hope is open! Suggested donation: $250.
Plan to arrive a little early to mingle and network before the program starts at noon!
