Kew EcoFair 2025
Following its huge success in 2023, Kew EcoFair is back on Saturday March 22nd 2025, at St Luke’s Church, Kew, from 10am to 3pm.
This award-winning event for the whole family aims to bring together the community to inspire action on climate change. More than 500 visited in 2023 and the organising team won a Richmond Council Community Hero award for their efforts.
This year’s fair will once again be officially opened by its patron broadcaster Jeremy Vine, London’s Deputy Mayor for the Environment Mete Coban MBE and the Mayor of Richmond, Cllr Richard Pyne.
The action-packed day will feature:
- Inspiring talks on fast fashion, child-friendly streets, nature-friendly gardens, repairing, up-cycling and the future of Hammersmith Bridge
- Free bike health checks from The London Cycle Workshop
- Free kids activities - make a bird feeder, bug hotel and a bag, and take part in our recycling challenge!
- Repair Cafe with Kew Transition - bring your furniture, clothes and electrical items that need repair!
- A ‘Good As New’ clothes sale - refresh your wardrobe as we bring Vinted to your doorstep!
- Vegan ‘Bake-Off’ competition - enter your cake, have it judged and then leave it for others to buy!
- Ethical shopping, including refill, eco-products, home produce, 'regifted' and ‘gardens in a jar’
- Try your luck on our 'Wishing Tree' to win prizes
- Delicious vegetarian lunches - soup and baguette, or jacket potato with cheese and beans - plus delicious vegan bakes!
- Musical entertainment from The Motleys, Kew Community Choir and 2nd Kew Brownies.
Organisations and businesses in attendance include: Habitats and Heritage, Richmond Council, Dose of Nature, Richmond Cycling Campaign, Richmond Friends of the Earth, Kew Society, Kew Transition, River & Park, Gardens In a Jar, The King's School, Darrell School, London Cycle Workshop and more to be announced!

Getting here: we encourage attendees to travel sustainably to Kew EcoFair, taking advantage of bus routes 110 and 65, which stop 5 minutes' walk away from the venue; alternatively, Kew Gardens tube station is a 10 minute walk, and North Sheen and Kew Bridge overground stations are a 15 minute walk away. Parking is limited to nearby roads - there is no parking on-site to attendees, other than stallholders and blue badge holders.
