Born from the legendary jams and last-minute gigs at New Haven’s own Cafe Nine, The Crown Street Orchestra got its start during the Mike Reichbart era, when Mike would pull together a rotating crew of local talent to fill in canceled slots around town. Back then, the lineup changed nightly, and the band tore through sets of raw Blues, Roots Rock, Americana, and R&B. Now, they’re back at it with a powerhouse lineup of veteran players who’ve been lighting up stages across New Haven and beyond for decades:
