Joining Kevin will be Ryan Jones on piano and Tom Buckley on drumsKevin McClellan is a Cincinnati-born bassist, and Graduate of the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. he spent six months studying traditional Brazilian music with Bassist Zé Alexandre. While in Brazil, he performed regularly with a samba jazz trio, led by the great Brazilian drummer Helder Samara. He has recorded and performed with a wide range of musicians across many genres, including Steve Wilson, Bob Shepherd, Joe LaBarbera, Vardan Ovsepian, Miroslav Tadic, and Larry Koonse.
Kevin spent two years in Los Angeles where he obtained a master's degree at the California Institute of the Arts. There, he studied bass with Darek Oleszkiewicz as well as music from around the world: Hindustani and Carnatic music with Aashish Khan and Vinod Venkataraman, Macedonian and Balkan music with Miroslav Tadic, and well as folk music from Israel, Peru, and Pakistan.
$10 drink minimum charged per person in the party, per set, if the total for beverages purchased by the party does not meet the minimum.
