'Kevin Eldon. No Eldon. He's that bloke in what's it called... you know... the one with wosstheirname in it. And the other one with the dog. Been around for ages. He was in that thing on that thing. You know. Where they all end up in Tavistock. Anyway, he's doing a bit of stand up again. Gets up on stage. Says stuff. Hops around a bit. Makes stupid noises. Him.'
In everyone else's words, one of the most inventive comedians in the country. Kevin has been in pretty much every brilliant comedy film/series produced in the last 20 years. From Alan Partridge to Lee and Herring's Fist of Fun. From Black Books to Inside No.9. From Game of Thrones to Hot Fuzz. He's even the voice of Penfold in Dangermouse. Most of all though he's a fantastic stand up comedian. I'm super excited to be bringing him to Orford House.
Not only that though, but we've got an amazing line up of support acts too.
Kate Lucas opens the show. Kate is an award winning musical comedian She is known for her razor sharp and deliciously dark songs. She combines catchy melodies with original lyrics to showcase her playfully bitter musings on life. Audiences have come to expect examples of what not to say and how not to behave from this gloriously talented comic.
In the middle section we have Hasan Alhabib -
Arab. Brummy. Muslim. Hasan was born to Iraqis that moved to Birmingham after deciding Baghdad wasn’t dangerous enough.
