Kevin & Tyler is two best buds busting their butts to please the audience - live-directed by John Gilkey and musical accompaniment by Benjamin Jaffe.
Kevin and Tyler met in 2013, in John Gilkey's Idiot Workshop. They trained, collaborated, taught classes and performed in Gilkey's ensembles for many years, eventually forming a comedy duo thought to be capable of saving the world from facism. Kevin stood ready for the call, but Tyler chose to high-tail it to Vegas to join the circus. Facism won the battle, but it won't win the war. Tyler is coming back into town for one night only to see if the magic is still alive between the two. Can these two star-crossed studs save the universe with improvised, clown-inspired, absurdist comedy. There chances are better with live-direction from John Gilkey and musical accompaniment from Benjamin Jaffe.
Kevin Gregory Krieger is a comedian and director based in Los Angeles, CA. Combining standup, clown and improvisation, his live performances have taken him to stages across the region, including Pasadena’s Civic Center Auditorium where he was featured on NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Kevin performed in the critically-acclaimed improvisational ensemble The Murge, which LA Weekly dubbed, "Spontaneous theater of the absurd…LA’s craziest improv show.” Kevin would go on to become an instructor for The Idiot Workshop where he fostered the LA clown community and took his place as "[a} fixture of the LA clown scene (LA Times)." In 2023, Kevin directed Claire Woolner’s solo show A Retrospection which was called “captivating throughout” by The New York Times and went on to win Best of Hollywood Fringe. Kevin co-owns a theater with Claire called PDA.
