The Kermés is a market/fair-style party featuring food, drinks, and games. It is trendy in Mexico and other Latin American countries and celebrated in some parts of the United States. Typically held as a Saints’ festival around churches or during official civil celebrations, it offers a wide range of activities for adults and children, making it essential for family integration.The main attractions of a Kermés include food and drink stands, a games area with activities like marbles, lottery, fishing, popping balloons with darts, and Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Additionally, there are playful role-playing booths such as a marriage booth (where you can pretend to marry your loved ones), a jail for those who do not respect diversity, and a reading area, among others.
