KEPT

This is an event especially designed for single women who love Jesus who have never married! All with the aim to gather, encourage, learn, and grow together in Christ. The heart of this event is to honour this precious part of the Body of Christ that can too often be overlooked or taken for granted.

KEPT is a call back to your first love with Jesus, finding satisfaction in Him rather than anything else. There will be a gathering Friday evening, and all day Saturday, October 25th and 26th.

Bios of Speakers and Event Coordinators:

Alison Springer has served the City of Calgary and Canada for almost 30 years. Having a heart for the next generation, she founded a non-profit called Young Women of Power, that provided conferences, workshops and mentorship programs for teen girls. She was the recipient of the Women of Inspiration: Difference Maker Award for her contribution to youth and young women across Canada. She has organized city wide events including Women’s International Day and is currently on the board for Calgary City Wide Prayer.

At age 50, Alison celebrates her singleness by the grace of God. Experience has taught her it’s better to be single with Jesus than settling without Him. 

Christy Childers currently calls Kona, Hawaii home. Previously, she worked in brand marketing at Facebook and Instagram HQ in Silicon Valley where God expanded her vision for her life. She is now an urban missionary in her late 30s serving God as a single woman in San Francisco, CA where she founded CelebratingSingles.com, providing resources that empower single adults into emotional health before marriage, also Loveatwork.io, which is an online discipleship series empowering believers to walk in the fullness of their calling in and through their work. In addition, Christy has discipled single women in their 30s and 40s across the nations. She is passionate about women stewarding their singleness so Jesus can have His full reward!

Katherine Gusztak is a young adult and worship leader at First Love Church. Through her own vulnerability, she enables people to come authentically into the presence of God and experience freedom. For the last three years, Katherine has traveled to the US, where she organized a conference for singles within two weeks with just under 100 men and women of all ages in the San Francisco Bay Area. This opened her eyes to a vital part of the body that has been overlooked and longs to gather together.

Katherine’s vision for this conference is to project the heart of Jesus for His beloved daughters, letting them know that they are not rejected but are KEPT for Him.
