Soul: Reimagined is a bold evolution of Kenyettá Dance Company’s Black History Month production, presented in partnership with Arts For Lawrence. Building on the foundation of last year’s Soul, this reimagined experience expands the story through contemporary movement, layered sound, and visual storytelling that honors the past while speaking directly to the present. The performance celebrates the enduring influence of Black creativity across generations, tracing rhythms, voices, and cultural expression from history into today. With fresh choreography and a renewed artistic lens, Soul: Reimagined invites audiences to witness how legacy lives on through the body, the beat, and the collective spirit. This is both a tribute and a forward-looking celebration of Black artistry, resilience, and joy.
