The Kentucky film and TV industry is a bit of a cryptid itself, but we are here - working magic in the cities and the woods and even leaving legacies.
We've officially hit the one year mark for hosting table reads in Lexington and Louisville and pitch sessions. During that time, we also hosted our first ever Kentucky based screenplay competition. We want to celebrate our anniversary, our winners and all the creatives who make the Kentucky creative media community what it is with our first ever festival, Kentuckywood!
This is a free to attend festival where we'll award cash prizes to our screenplay winners and showcase Kentucky talent, thanks to Fund for the Arts, the Kentucky Foundation for Women, She Dreams Entertainment, Women in Film Kentucky, and filmmaker Wesley Mullins
