Featuring an incredible brunch spread and Top Shelf open bar from Proof on Main, kick off Derby weekend right with expert betting tips and tricks from local racing analyst Ellis Starr. The morning will also include music from local band and Lexington Music Award's "Bluegrass Artist of the Year," Mama Said String Band!
Guests will receive tip sheets for both Oaks Day and Derby Day races, along with invaluable insight to become comfortable and familiar with racing and wagering.
$21 of each ticket purchased will be donated to Old Friends thoroughbred retirement facility in Georgetown, KY.

Ellis Starr, a.k.a. “Ubercapper,” has been a racing fan for many years and understands all aspects of handicapping as well as betting. More than 25 years ago, Ellis was one of the first handicappers to publish his selections on the Internet and to share his knowledge daily.
Ellis is the National Racing Analyst for Equibase, the Thoroughbred industry’s official source for Racing Information, writing a widely distributed “Race of the Week” story analyzing the top races in North America, which also appears on the web sites America’s Best Racing and the Paulick Report.
