Info: Join the group for a walking tour around Lexington while stretching your sketching skills. The session host will give tips and tricks to help improve your on-the-go drawings skills. Info: This site tour will be at Huntertown Community Interpretive Park in Versailles, Woodford County. During this presentation, participants will learn about Huntertown's history that lead to the design of the park, the interpretive wayfinding signage system, the environmental considerations accounted for in the design, and the impacts of the project. Info: The concept that "Open Houses Are Not Enough" reflects the speakers' approach and perspectives towards the evolution of public engagement procedures for projects across various scales. In this session, the speakers will dissect diverse processes, share valuable learnings and outcomes from their firsthand experience in public engagement over the past five years. They aim to motivate the audience to actively engage in discussions, exploring the advantages and drawbacks of different engagement strategies and approaches in project scaling, ranging from an individual park to a regional transit system.
